Doug serves as Portfolio Operations Assistant responsible for market research and investment analysis. He monitors investment accounts and handles trading in relation to account maintenance.
Doug grew up in North Carolina and is a life long UNC Tarheel basketball fan graduating in 1985. He joined the industry in 1990 after having served in the Navy for three years. He has obtained the Certified Financial Planner designation, and most recently spent 22 years at a global investment institution in an analysis and sales role.
He is a retired Scoutmaster and with Stephanie, his wife of 36 years, enjoys hiking in San Diego County and traveling the world. They raised three sons, all of whom are Eagle Scouts and college grads, in Carlsbad. Doug is a season ticket holder for the SDSU men’s basketball team and also enjoys attending Padres and SDFC games.
